1、 Introduction to PSE certification in Japan
1) PSE certification is a Japanese compulsory safety certification to prove that the electrical and electronic products have passed the safety standard test of Japanese electrical and raw material safety law or international IEC standards.
2) The products specified in Japan's dentorl law (electrical equipment and material control law) must pass the safety certification before entering the Japanese market.
2、 Japanese PSE certification product category
1) PSE diamond certification - specific electrical products, including 116 products;
Common typical products: mobile phone charger, transformer
2) PSE round certification - non specified products, including 341 products;
Common typical products: battery, mobile power supply
3、 Introduction to PSE certification
3.1 Japanese PSE certification process
1) The applicant shall provide samples (the battery shall have PSE certification or CB certification) and application documents;
2) CMC carries out sample test;
3) The applicant confirms the draft report;
4) CMC issues test report;
3.2 Japanese PSE certification cycle
1) Mobile power product certification cycle: 10 working days;
2) Battery product certification cycle: 20 working days;
(other round PSE certification cycle: 10 working days, diamond PSE certification cycle: 20 working days).

3.4 validity of PSE certificate
